Chablé Hotel, located in Yucatán, has been recognized as the best hotel in the world, receiving the Prix Versailles —an award granted by UNESCO and the International Union of Architects.

The Chablé Resort & Spa, featuring 38 luxury villas, earned the 2017 Prix Versailles for its exceptional architectural and interior design. Created by Mexican designers Jorge Borja and Paulina Morán, the project stands out for its integration of modern architecture with the heritage of the region. Built around a natural cenote and crafted by local Mayan artisans, the design merges contemporary techniques with traditional elements inspired by the pre-Hispanic homes of the Yucatán.

Each suite, located within the historic henequen hacienda of Chocholá, bears a Mayan name honoring local insects, animals, trees, or fruits.

Among its many offerings, the hotel features an exclusive restaurant led by chef Jorge Vallejo, whose main restaurant ranks 12th among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, providing guests with a world-class culinary experience.
